About Us
W.G. Independent Productions was founded in 2005 by Mr. Willie Henley, a dedicated community leader with over 30 years of outreach and ministry experience. Driven by a passion for helping others, especially youth, Mr. Henley created the organization to inspire, empower, and transform lives through faith, creativity, and community engagement.
As President and CEO, Mr. Henley has remained committed to supporting individuals from all walks of life while developing programs that encourage youth through entertainment, mentorship, outreach, and the arts.
Today, W.G. Independent Productions continues its mission of promoting faith, empowerment, creativity, and positive community impact through stage plays, music, youth initiatives, wellness, martial arts, and artistic development.
Our history
In 2006, the organization hosted a talent show at Emmanuel High School, providing young people with an opportunity to showcase their talents and build confidence within the community.
In 2007, W.G. Independent Productions organized a Christmas holiday fashion show fundraiser to support a local school and bring families together during the holiday season.
In 2008, the organization presented a citywide concert event titled “One for the City,” an inspirational gathering that united communities through music, entertainment, and positive outreach.
Continuing its mission through the arts and faith-based productions, W.G. Independent Productions partnered with Ahayah's Vision LLC in Atlanta, Georgia in 2023 to present “The Faith of Job” stage play. The production brought together powerful storytelling, faith, and community engagement while creating opportunities for artists and performers.
In 2025, W.G. Independent Productions further contributed to another presentation of “The Faith of Job” at Stevenson Theater in Orangeburg, South Carolina, continuing its dedication to impactful theatrical productions that inspire, encourage, and uplift audiences.
Today, W.G. Independent Productions continues building a legacy of creativity, faith, empowerment, and community service through stage plays, music, youth initiatives, outreach programs, wellness, martial arts, and artistic development.
